Speech Acts Analysis of “Spiderman No Way Home” Movie as A Medium of Learning Material

A movie is one of the beneficial teaching media. Its main function for entertainment, but it a good resource language learning as well. The dialog in provides material skills and structure which can be learned any element language. In this research, writer investigated focused on speech acts. study aims to identify types acts delivered by actor Spider-man movie, was used material, along with their frequency. This research conducted descriptive qualitative method. analysis Searle’s theory divided into five classifications, commissive, declarative, directive, expressive, representative. After analyzing, found all conversations. Although, amount utterances each type are various. Directive (46%) frequently dialogue followed expressive (30%) commissive (12%), declarative (6%), representative (6%). Therefore, expressions such command, order, request, thank, apology, etc., parts directive type, often appear conversation, especially action movies. Keywords: Speech act,
